Experience
Last year Susanne and Erin closed over $12,000,000 dollars in real estate. Erin and Susanne attribute much of their success to their fresh take on marketing homes and working with buyers, including technology, target marketing and 'thinking outside of the MLS.' Selling real estate is their passion.
Susanne Stauffer lives in the heart of Ballard in a quintessential, old Ballard home. Susanne likes to spend time with friends in her community, visiting local businesses and events. Originally from Helsinki, Finland, Susanne moved to America when she was nine years old, she speaks fluent Finnish. Susanne is a graduate of Marquette University in International Relations, Political Science and Economics and a minor in French. She originally started her real estate career over 6 years ago. Susanne was also formerly the Designated Broker of RE/MAX Mutual Realty in Ballard managing over 35 agents. She and Erin decided to team up and pursue buying and selling real estate full time to grow their business.
Erin Goodwin enjoys hiking, camping and giving back to her community. Erin has worked and volunteered for countless non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of Eckerd College in Environmental Science Policy with a double minor in Political Science and International Relations. Erin was formerly the Vice President of RE/MAX Mutual Realty for over three and a half years. She decided to pursue real estate full time with Susanne to keep up with their growing business.

Townhouse market slows Price cuts out of proportion with other homes in area

"There's just so many," said Susanne Stauffer, who is Erin Goodwin's partner at Re/Max. "The market's kind of saturated with them."
Stauffer said townhouse builders' recent big price cuts brought out buyers, and prices have since started leveling off.
But the new townhouses on the market and their price drops may have made life particularly hard for those trying to sell older townhouses. Erin Goodwin saw the high number of new townhouses as a big reason why her sister's home wasn't attracting much traffic.
Goodwin eventually opted for a novel approach, realizing the home might appeal to doctors because it is close to several hospitals. She marketed the home to doctors, with help from Jamie's doctor husband, and quickly landed a buyer.
